Located in South Tweed – where the company has been for almost 20 years – we certainly know this area.
We’re easy to find –

Come down Machinery Drive, and you’ll find Tierney Place on the left, second road on left past the Aldi store
OR
Come along Greenway Drive (past the Bunnings & Harvey Norman shopping area), go under the motorway bridge and round the corner and Tierney Place is the first road on the right
Tierney Place is a short cul-de-sac, drive to the end and through the green gates. Look slightly to the left and you will see our office.
We have been serving customers on the Gold Coast and Tweed Coast from Burleigh to Casuarina to Pottsville and the associated hinterland and know our way around after all these years – so call us and we’ll find you – or come in to see us and we’ll help you!
We have an office, showroom area and workshop on site.
Various door styles and designs are on display along with garage door motors, auto gates and door accessories. Take away brochures and colour samples are available if you are wanting a new door.
Many types of remotes, a selection of spare parts and friendly help is on hand when you visit us.
EXPERIENCED
We often get the hard jobs – but with out specialists in various areas of the business, we’re able to tackle all issues with residential doors along with commercial and industrial doors and motors.
We make our own tilt doors in our workshop on site – and therefore are very familiar with these types of door.
Auto gates are also a specialty with us. Geoff has a background as an electrician and invaluable experience with automatic gates.
Our technician team takes care of our repairs and maintenance.
We can offer a service whereby you can have your door or gate and motor serviced on a scheduled basis.

Banora Garage Door Services staff strive to give our customers the best advice and service. All our repair work is guaranteed for three months for any repair work done.
Relative to new doors, we have access to many types of doors and brands but prefer to firstly offer doors and motors that have proven to be the best quality over the years and with a manufacturer that gives significant warranties on their products.
B & D Doors have only one accredited dealer in any given area. They have chosen Banora Garage Doors in our area because we meet their standards, which include workmanship, knowledge, experience and professionalism. These attributes enable us to continue to offer a quality product and service to our customers.
They also stand by their warranties and are quick to respond to any problem regarding any of their products should a fault occur while under warranty.
It is not surprising then, to find that our customers trust us and remain loyal over many years.
ON THE SPOT
Banora Garage Doors have the only showroom for garage doors and automatic gates in our base area of the Tweed Coast. You are welcome to come in and see doors in reality and action, or if wanting a measure and quote for a new door or auto gate, we will come to your site to advise, measure and quote for new installations.
There’s plenty of parking around our office, so feel free to come by. If you have a remote problem, come in with your existing remote and we can change batteries, test to ascertain if remotes are still operational, and/or supply with a new one. For any remotes purchased from us we are able to give you instructions on how to code these in, in most cases.
Our technician team work Monday to Friday and our office and showroom are open these days. If there is a real emergency we can take calls after hours but we do respect our staff must have family time also.
You can have confidence that should you have a problem after we have installed a new door, motor or repaired your garage door issues, you know where to find us and we are always contactable.
ACCREDITED
As B&D manufacture their doors in Australia, they take pride in their doors and want to have dealers who also have this same ethic. There is only one accredited dealer in each area and Banora Garage Doors are the only accredited B&D dealer in this Tweed Coast area.

WARRANTIES
With all our service and repair work, Banora Garage Doors offer a three month warranty if the same fault recurs.
With all our new doors and motors, warranties are offered. These do vary relative to the specific item but B&D particularly offer lengthy warranties on their motors – these being 5 years or 10,000 cycles on the smaller motors or 7 years or 20,000 cycles on the medium and top of the line range motors. It is necessary however to have taken reasonable care and maintenance of the product.
We can offer scheduled maintenance to ensure you meet all warranty requirements.
It should be noted that no company can warranty a product against corrosion if it is caused by salt air. We can organise for door fittings to be powder-coated to assist in rust resistance in such environments. Also to be considered if you are exposed to salt air and have an overhead motor, is to use aluminium rails instead of steel, and/or to have a belt drive instead of a chain drive. These give you rust resistance and less maintenance and either option can be used with any B&D model of overhead motor.
